Academic roadshows
We regularly host a number of roadshows and workshops around the country with the awarding bodies, to promote our relationship with each of them and to help you improve the marketing of your CompTIA courses, raise the awareness of your IT facility, and better engage businesses in your community.
If you would be interested in attending one of these
in your area, please contact mhenderson@comptia.org.
E2C annual event 2008
We would like to extend our thanks once again to our E2C members and event sponsors for the continued support of our academy programme at our 5th Annual E2C event held on 25th April in Birmingham. Our theme was “Tomorrow’s Skills’ and the three keynote speakers this year delivered some very relevant and thought-provoking content and gave delegates some great and innovative ideas to take away with them. Many of you have requested access to the various presentations delivered throughout the day which I have made available for you below.
The CompTIA ‘Diary Room’ video clip will be made available to view shortly! Thanks to those who were brave enough to enter!
What you have said about the event:-
- ‘I found this conference to be exceptionally informative and it also held my attention. I am leaving with some really good ideas with a positive outlook for the future delivery of CompTIA programme’.
Jo Nelson-Cairns – Glasgow North Regeneration Agency
- ‘This was the best event I have attended. I learned a great deal and was delighted with the increased technical content. I have taken down several ideas that will improve my teaching. Also, Edexcel have shown me how to get more students onto CompTIA courses’.
Simon Goldberg, Boston College
- ‘Very well organised and CompTIA staff are very pro-active in encouraging and cultivating networking’.
Janice O’Connell, University of Limerick
